Pengaruh Job Insecurity Dan Beban Kerja Terhadap Komitmen Organisasional Dengan Kepuasan Kerja Sebagai Variabel Intervening Pada Pegawai Tenaga Harian Lepas Sekretariat Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Kota Pekanbaru
As an agency that carries out its functions, Local People's Representative Council the Pekanbaru has many potential officials but it seems that they have not been empowered, because there is a problem with a high workload that cannot be handled by all employees within it. Therefore, Secretariat Local People's Representative Council Pekanbaru needs to recruit contact employees or Freelance Daily Staff in order to improve performance and job satisfaction within the Secretariat Local People's Representative Council Pekanbaru. This research aims to examine the influence of Job Insecurity and Workload on the Organizational Commitment of Casual Daily Employees with Job Satisfaction as an Intervening Variable at the Secretariat of the Pekanbaru Regional People's Representative Council. The population in this study was all Casual Daily employees at the Secretariat of the Regional People's Representative Council of Riau Province, totaling 158 people. Meanwhile, the sampling technique used is purposive sampling with THL criteria with administrative and documentation work that requires precision, accuracy and high work focus where small errors often occur but have fatal consequences with a work period of 5 years or less, so that we get The sample size is 55 employees. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire, while data analysis used path analysis. The research results found that job insecurity and workload had a negative and significant effect on employee satisfaction and employee organizational commitment. Meanwhile, job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee organizational commitment. Then job insecurity and workload have a negative and significant effect on employee organizational commitment with job satisfaction as an intervening variable.
