This study aims to analyze the influence of Quality of Work Life (QWL) and Employee Engagement on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) among the civil servant nurses at RSUD dr. Suhatman, Mars Kota Dumai. The research uses primary data collected through questionnaires distributed to 121 nurses. The analysis technique employed is multiple linear regression to examine the impact of the independent variables on the dependent variable.
The results indicate that both Quality of Work Life and Employee Engagement significantly influence Organizational Citizenship Behavior. A strong Quality of Work Life leads to better Organizational Citizenship Behavior by fostering a positive work environment where nurses feel valued and motivated to go beyond their formal job duties. Employee Engagement also plays a vital role, where higher levels of dedication and commitment improve Organizational Citizenship Behavior, making nurses more proactive in helping colleagues and engaging in team initiatives. The coefficient of determination (R²) shows that the model explains 71.9% of the variance in Organizational Citizenship Behavior.
