Pemanfaatan Pupuk Organik Cair (POC) Limbah Batang Pisang (Musa paradisiaca) Terhadap Kepadatan Azolla microphylla Pada Media Pemeliharaan Ikan Gurami (Osphronemus gouramy)
This research was carried out for 30 days from April to May 2024, located next to the Hatchery, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Affairs, Riau University. The aim of this research is to determine the dose of liquid organic fertilizer (POC) from banana stem waste (Musa paradisiaca) on the density of Azolla microphylla in gourami fish rearing media and the benefit of this research is that it can provide information regarding the utilization of POC from banana stem waste (M. paradisiaca) on the density of A. microphylla in the gourami fish rearing media. The research method used was an experimental method with the addition of banana stem POC to the rearing containers at different doses which was carried out using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) using 4 treatment levels and 3 replications. The treatments in this study were: P0: Without giving POC (Control), P1: GivingPOC 0.875 ml/l water, P2: Giving POC 2.625 ml/l water and P3: Giving POC 5.250 ml/l water. The best treatment was treatment P2 (2.625 ml/l water) with the best density value of 31,627 ± 4.07d, absolute weight 3.07 ± 0.15b, absolute length 2.98 ± 0.49b, specific growth rate 2.46 ± 0.27b, and a survival rate of 95%. Temperature ranges from 28-29oC, pH ranges from 7.0-8.0, DO ranges from 5.4-8.4 mg/L, nitrate ranges from 0.45-16.8 mg/L, and Orthophosphate 0, 6-3.52 mg/L.
