Pengaruh Padat Tebar Berbeda Terhadap Kelulushidupan dan Pertumbuhan Ikan Bawal Air Tawar (Colossoma macropomum) pada Sisten Resirkulasi Menggunakan Filter Bioball
Cachama fish (Colossoma macropomum) is one of the fishery commodities that has important prospects for cultivation because of its high economic value. Stocking density that is too high and low will result in inefficient fish feed and movement space, so that the growth and survival of fish will not be optimal. In enlargement, it is not known the right stocking density to spur the growth of cachama fish. This study aims to determine the effect of different densities on the survival and growth of cachama fish in the recirculation system with the best bioball filter. This research was carried out for 50 days, from June to July 2024 at the Aquaculture Technology Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Affairs, University of Riau. The method used in this study is an experimental method with a Complete Random Design (CRD) experimental design with 4 treatment levels and 3 replicates, so 12
experimental units are needed. The treatments used in this study were as follows: P1) 1 heads; P2) 2 heads ; P3) 3 heads; P4) 4 heads. Different stocking densities were best found in p1) 8 heads, which resulted in absolute weight %, growth of 23.03 grams, absolute length 5.56 cm, specific growth rate of 4.58%, feed utilization efficiency of 84.72%, blood glucose of 52.80 mg/dL, and survival of 96.00 %.
