Pedagang Dan Tenda Ceper Di Kawasan Stadion Utama Riau Kota Pekanbaru
This study was conducted in the Riau Main Stadium area, precisely on Jl. Naga Sakti, Bina Widya District, Bina Widya Village, Pekanbaru City, which aims to determine how traders understand the provision of flat tents in the Riau Main Stadium area which are suspected of being misused by irresponsible visitors because the flat tent facilities are less than 1.5 meters high and have dim lighting. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method by taking 6 subjects. In determining the subjects of this study, Purposive sampling techniques were used and data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The theory used is the Social Conflict theory. The results of the study in the field can be concluded that traders' understanding of the provision of flat tents in the Riau Main Stadium area is dominated by the view that the tents should support buying and selling activities, protect from the weather, and create comfort. However, because of the low tents and minimal lighting at night, many visitors take advantage of it for things that violate norms, such as inappropriate activities that disrupt order. Area managers and local governments can consider increasing supervision in the flat tent area to prevent improper use, managers need to add adequate lighting around the tent area so that the area is brighter and easier to supervise, so that it can reduce acts that violate norms and also redesigning the tent to be more open and easily visible from the outside can reduce acts that violate norms.
