Korelasi Modal Sosial Terhadap Pendapatan Pedagang Sembako Di Pasar Pagi Arengka Kota Pekanbaru
The social capital used by traders to increase their income. The negative cases occurring within the market have caused concern among traders and buyers. The use of social capital, which consists of social networks, trust, and social norms, has become an alternavite for grocery traders at the Pasar Pagi Arengka in Pekanbaru City. The purpose of this study was to determine: 1) The forms of social capital do grocery traders at Pasar Pagi Arengka possess 2) The income level of crocery traders at Pasar Pagi Arengka 3) The correlation between social capital and the income of grocery traders at Pasar Pagi Arengka. This study used quantitative research methods. The population of this study consists of grocery traders at Pasar Pagi Arengka, and the sample in this study are 45 respondents. Sampling was conducted used by census. The data in the research were colleted through interviews, questionnaire, and documenttation. The data analysis technique used product moment correlation. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the correlation test results show a correlation coefficient value of r = 0,630. This means there is a correlation between the independent variable (social capital) and the dependent variable (trader income) of 0,630 which indicates that social capital significantly affects of trader income by 63% while 37% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
