Asian Redtail Catfish is often found in river waters, swamps and reservoirs, it has delicious meat and high economic value because have of market demand, the increasing demand of this fish triggers the farmers to improve the quality of larvae or seeds with the availability of appropriate feed for the growth and survival of larvae. The aimed of this study was to find a substitution for silk worms as initial feed and to increase the fish hatching process and survival of Asian redtail catfish larvae. This study was conducted from October to November 2023, at the Fish Breeding and Breeding Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, University of Riau.
