Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Padi Gogo (Oryza sativa L.) pada Medium Podsolik dengan Pemberian Komposisi Zeolit Sekam Padi, Biourin Kambing, dan Pupuk N, P
Rice is critical as the primary food source for 95% of Indonesia's population, with demand increasing alongside population growth. Developing upland rice on dry podzolic land is seen as a promising strategy to boost production. Despite challenges posed by podzolic soil's chemical composition, Indonesia's vast podzolic areas offer significant potential for upland rice cultivation. Techniques such as using rice husk zeolite (RHZ), goat biourin (GB), and N, P fertilizers are being explored to address these challenges. Current research aims to optimize the application of RHZ, GB, N, and P fertilizers to maximize the growth and yield of upland rice (Oryza sativa L.) on podzolic soil, employing a completely randomized design (CRD) for experimentation. Treatment consisted of 8 levels of combination (1 g RHZ+200 ml GB, 1 g RHZ+400 ml GB, 1 g RHZ+200 ml GB+0.31 g N +0.25 g P2O5, 1 g RHZ+400 ml GB+0,31 g N+0,25 g P2O5, 2 g RHZ+200 ml GB, 2 g RHZ+ 400 ml GB, 2 g RHZ+200 ml GB+0,31 g N+0,25 g P2O5, 2 g RHZ+400 ml GB+0,31 g N+ 0,25 g P2O5) which was repeated 3 times until 24 experimental units were obtained. The research results indicate that using 1 g RHZ+200 ml GB+0.31 g N+0.25 g P2O5 per polybag significantly boosts plant height, number of productive tillers, 1000 grain weight, milled dry grain, and accelerates panicle maturity and harvest.
