Bahaya Erosi dan Faktor Penentu Erosi di Sub Das Ketipo Kecamatan Peranap Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu
Erosion is an indication that land is damaged. Erosion is caused by land activities foragriculture, mining and deforestation, so thereis the potential for erosion around the sub-watershed. This research evaluates the impact of land use such as oil palm plantations, forests and shifting cultivation on the rate of soil erosion in the Ketipo Sub-watershed, Indragiri River. The survey method is used to identify factors that influence the rate of soil erosion, with sample points selected based on an overlay of land unit maps, soil data, slope slope and land use. Primary data includes field measurements and laboratoryanalysis for soil texture, permeability, organic matter, and rainfall data for the last 10 years. Regression analysis identified soil erodibility as the main factor influencing erosion rates. The research results showed that the highest erosion rate occurred in oil palm plantation areas (4,929 ton.ha.year-1) and the lowest in forest areas (0.004 ton.ha.year-1). This studyhighlights the importance of land conservation to mitigate the negative impacts of human activities in the Ketipo Sub-watershed, Indragiri Hulu Regency.
