Analisis Faktor Penentu Karakteristik Lahan Rawa Pasang Surut untuk Pengembangan Tanaman Sagu (Metroxylon sagu)
The development of paludiculture plants such as sago as a vegetative restoration can maintain the natural properties of tidal land that is damaged when drained. This study aims to determine the characteristics and suitability of tidal land for sago development. The research method used is a soil survey. Soil sampling points are determined based on the Land Map Unit (SPT) which is the result of overlaying soil type maps, peat thickness maps, and land system maps. The assessment of land suitability is carried out with a matching system in the actual and potential state. Thecharacteristics ofthe land in each SPThavealoamy sand to sandy loam texture, with high to very low moisture content values, have a pH value that acts sour to very sour, Cation Exchange Capacity (KTK) with low to very high category, low to very low alkaline saturation (KB), C-organic very low to very high category, phosphate available very low to high category, total potassium low to very high category, total nitrogen low to very high category. The actual land suitability in the Terric Haplosaprist Tax Return includes the class according to the marginal (S3), in the Histic Humaquepts Tax Return includes the class according to the marginal (S2), in the Typic Endoaquepts Tax Return includes the class according to the marginal (S3).
