Analisis Produktivitas Mesin Pemotong Kertas Folio Menggunakan Metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) Dan Failure Mode And Effect Analysis (FMEA) (Studi Kasus : PT. Riau Andalan Pulp And Paper)
Riau Andalan Kertas (RAK) is one of the business units of PT. Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper which functions to produce paper in the form of customer rolls, cut sizes and folios. RAK has several departments, one of which is the finishing department, which consists of converting 1 and converting 2. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze factors that contribute greatly to the folio machine to the OEE value and analyze component damage to the folio machine using the FMEA method. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is an innovative approach to machine or facility maintenance by optimizing equipment effectiveness, reducing or eliminating sudden damage and performing independent maintenance by operators. Overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) is a measurement method that functions to determine the effectiveness of the use and utilization of machines, equipment, time and materials in a production. Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) is a before-the-event action to eliminate and minimize the possibility of failure in the future. Analysis during the period from January 2023 to December 2023 obtained the OEE value on the folio 1 paper cutting machine of 68.59%, the folio 2 paper cutting machine of 64.93%, the folio 3 paper cutting machine of 71.34%, the folio 4 paper cutting machine of 63.96%, and the folio 5 paper cutting machine of 67.71%. The next measurement carried out was to measure the six big losses to determine the factors that caused the decline in machine performance, namely reduced speed losses and set up and adjustment losses. The next stage was to analyze component damage using the FMEA method and obtained the main priority for repairing the bearing components in the folio cutting machine at the converting unit 2 of PT. Riau Andalan Pulp & Paper.
