Perancangan Alat Pengukur Dan Pemotong Kabel Fiber Optic Otomatis Berbasis IOT (Internet Of Thing) Di PT. PLN Indonesia Comnets Plus (ICON+)
ABSTRACT
The purpose of this device is to facilitate the process of measuring and cutting fiber
optic cables automatically and efficiently at PT. PLN Indonesia Comnets Plus
(ICON+). This research aims to design and implement an IoT-based automatic
fiber optic cable measuring and cutting tool, controlled via the Telegram platform
and utilizing Google Spreadsheet for data storage. The device uses the ESP32
microcontroller as the main system brain, connected to various tools for precise
cable measurement and cutting. Users can control this device remotely through an
integrated Telegram bot, simplifying monitoring and control processes.
Additionally, measurement results and cutting data are automatically saved to
Google Spreadsheet, allowing real-time and centralized data access and analysis.
The research methodology includes hardware design, software development, and
thorough system testing. Test results show that this device is capable of measuring
and cutting fiber optic cables with high accuracy and can be easily operated
through the Telegram application.
