Analisis Usaha Madu Kelulut (Trigona Sp) Pada Kelompok Usaha Perhutanan Sosial (Kups) Di Hutan Adat Ghimbo Pomuan

ABSTRACT
Ghimbo Pomuan Customary Forest is a forest area with an area of 56
hectares that has the potential for diverse non-timber forest products, including
rattan, durian, resin, and various other forest products. Kelulut honey is one
commodity that is still actively utilized by the local community. The Kelulut
Pomuan Social Forestry Business Group (KUPS) has been running this kelulut
honey business from 2020 until now, which means that this business has been
operating for approximately 4 years. This study aims to analyze production costs,
revenue, income, and business feasibility of kelulut honey in KUPS kelulut
pomuan. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach.
Data analysis used in this study includes descriptive analysis, cost, revenue,
income, and Revenue Cost Ratio. The results showed that the production cost of
pomuan kelulut honey business in the January-October period of 2024 amounted
to IDR 1,766,800. The revenue of the kelulut honey business in the January-
October period of 2024 produced 26 bottles of honey with a revenue of IDR
2,600,000. The net income obtained from the pomuan kelulut honey business
during the January-October period of 2024 was IDR 833,200. The results of the
R/C ratio analysis on the pomuan kelulut honey business for the January-October
2024 period show that the total revenue divided by the total production cost gets a
constant result of 1.47. The honey business is considered profitable and feasible to
cultivate because the value of R/C ratio > 1.
