Penerapan Model Contextual Teaching And Learning (Ctl) Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Materi Pencak Silat Di Smp Negeri 34 Pekanbaru
This reserch aims to improve the quality of learning in pencak silat material through the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model in class IX 6 of SMP Negeri 34 Pekanbaru. This study includes Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles, where each cycle consists of the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data were obtained through observation, knowledge and skills tests, and documentation. The results of the study showed a significant increase in the cognitive and psychomotor aspects of students. In cycle 1, students began to show understanding and basic skills of pencak silat, although they had not reached the maximum standard. After improvements were made in cycle 2, there was a significant increase, where students were able to perform pencak silat movements well, understand the purpose of each movement, and increase student involvement in learning. The Contextual Teaching and Learning model has proven effective in creating a more active, efficient, and enjoyable learning process, as well as helping students develop collaboration, responsibility, and independence skills. This study recommends strengthening the implementation of the CTL model in PJOK learning to improve the quality of education holistically
