Analisis Kemampuan Keuangan Daerah Kabupaten/Kota Di Provinsi Riau Tahun 2014 – 2023

ABSTRACT
This research aims to determine the regional financial capacity of 12 (twelve) regencies / cities in Riau Province in 2014-2023 sourced from the Riau Provincial Statistics Agency and the Ministry of Finance as well as journals and literature related to this research. The data analysis method used in this research is quantitative descriptive analysis method. The results of the research based on the Regency / City Financial Capability Index Method in Riau Province show that Dumai City and Pekanbaru City are included in the high regional Financial Capability Index category, so they have the ability to optimize their potential regional income to be used for the development of the area. Bengkalis Regency, Indragiri Hilir Regency, Indragiri Hulu Regency, Kampar Regency, Meranti Islands Regency, Kuantan Singingi Regency, Pelalawan Regency, Rokan Hilir Regency, Rokan Hulu Regency and Siak Regency are included in the low regional Financial Capability Index category, considered unable to utilize their potential to the fullest, so it is necessary to increase their financial capacity.
