The Effect Of Applying Flipped Classroom Onstudents’ Speaking Ability Of 11th Grade Students At Smk Abdurrab Pekanbaru
Using an experimental research design, the study sought to determine
whether or not the use of flipped classrooms had a substantial impact on the
speaking abilities of 11th grade students at SMK Abdurrab Pekanbaru. 183
students made up the research population, while 60 students from the experimental
and control groups were chosen at random using a cluster random sampling
technique. Speaking tests were used in this study to see if the flipped classroom
could improve the speaking abilities of students. SPSS 29 was used by the
researcher to examine the data. The findings proved that the experimental class's
pre-test and post-test had a significance value of 0.001. Ha is approved while h0 is
refused since 0.001 is less than 0.005. In addition, the significance of the control
class is 0.463 which mean is unaffected by the usage of lecture-style classes
because the significance of the data is more than 0.05. It can be said that the 11th
students at SMK Abdurrab Pekanbaru's speaking abilities are impacted by the
implementation of the flipped classroom method.
