Sistem Monitoring Cerdas Kwh Meter Pln Berbasis Iot
ABSTRACT
Electricity has become a primary necessity in modern life. However, public awareness of efficient electricity usage is still low, which often complicates financial management related to electricity payments. To address this issue, an IoT-based electricity monitoring device was developed. (Internet of Things). This tool is designed to enable users to monitor and control electricity consumption effectively from a distance, utilizing IoT platforms such as Thingspeak and Firebase through NodeMCU. The tool is equipped with a PZEM-004T sensor to measure voltage, current, and electrical power, as well as a 20x4 LCD screen to display information directly. Programming using the Arduino IDE allows this tool to process current and voltage data to accurately calculate electricity usage. Additionally, this device is also capable of estimating electricity usage costs by multiplying the energy consumed per second by the electricity rate per kWh. With these features, this device provides a solution for monitoring the usage of electrical devices in real-time, allowing users to optimize energy consumption. It is hoped that this energy monitoring tool can raise awareness of the importance of saving electrical energy and encourage more efficient electricity use.
