Pemetaan Sebaran Co, No2, Dan So2 Dari Cerobong Boiler Dan Heater Pt. Kilang Pertamina Internasional Refinery Unit Ii Sungai Pakning
ABSTRACT
PT Pertamina International (KPI) Refinery Unit (RU) II Sungai Pakning is one of the petroleum industry activities located in Riau province. The operational activities of PT KPI RU II Sungai Pakning produce emissions, one of which is CO, NO2, and SO2 pollutants which can have a negative impact on the environment and health. One way to describe air quality is by doing dispersion modeling using the AERMOD View application. The purpose of this study is to determine the emission distribution pattern of CO, NO2, and SO2 pollutants from the chimney of PT KPI RU II Sungai Pakning, compared with ambient air quality standards based on Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 22 of 2021, and compare the simulation results of emission distribution to changes in the rainy season and dry season. The model simulation results show that the distribution direction of CO, NO2, and SO2 pollutants tends to head southwest from the PT KPI RU II Sungai Pakning chimney emission source. Simulation results on CO, NO2, and SO2 pollutants show that the concentrations of CO and NO2 pollutants do not exceed the ambient air quality standards in accordance with PP No. 22 of 2021. Meanwhile, the SO2 pollutant has a concentration value that exceeds the ambient air quality standard, namely at the highest 1 hour measurement time and the highest 24 hours, namely 193.43 μg/m3 and 76.32 μg/m3. For the comparison of the dry and rainy seasons, the simulation results show that the concentration of CO, NO2, and SO2 pollutants in the dry season is more dominant than the rainy season, namely 193.43 μg/m3 for the dry season for SO2 pollutants and 190.70 μg/m3 for the rainy season for SO2 pollutants.
