Analisis Kinerja Direktur Bumdes Di Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir : Performance Analysis Of The Director’s Bumdes In Indragiri Hilir Regency
Background and Objectives: in general, the performance of BUMDES directors has not improved and even tends to be sluggish, as well as Indragiri Hilir Regency in Riau Province. The Village Community Empowerment Office as an institution that protects Village Business Institutions, currently expects many changes in business improvement, which is marked by changes in the competence of the director as a driving force, which is supported by leadership and entrepreneurial spirit in moving business units as well as the director's commitment in realizing the future vision and mission of BUMDes as the only reliable village community business. This study aims to analyze the development of a director performance model influenced by leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, through competence strengthened by the director's commitment as the main actor in the change of the status of Village-Owned Enterprises to Advanced.
Methodology: this study uses a quantitative descriptive method. Data collection used a questionnaire distributed to 179 respondents of the Village Consultative Body in Indragiri HIlir Regency. The research instrument uses Smart-Partial Least Square (PLS) 4.0, to test the predictive relationship between constructs.
Results: leadership has a positive and significant effect on the performance of directors; entrepreneurial spirit has a positive and significant effect on the performance of directors; competence has a positive and significant effect on the performance of directors; leadership has a positive and significant effect on competence; entrepreneurial spirit has a positive and significant effect on competence; Leadership is strengthened by competence as mediation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of directors, entrepreneurial spirit is strengthened by competence as mediation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of directors, leadership is not strengthened by commitment as moderation has a negative and insignificant effect on the performance of directors, entrepreneurial spirit is not strengthened by commitment as moderation has a negative and insignificant effect on performance director; Competence is strengthened by commitment as moderation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of directors.
Conclusion: the higher a person's competence, the higher the leadership and entrepreneurial spirit towards performance with the support of commitment will have a positive and significant effect; However, the influence of leadership and entrepreneurial spirit is not strengthened by commitment, it is not always a positive and significant influence on the performance of directors.
