ABSTRACT
This research aims to examine the influence of the current ratio, debt to equity ratio
and net profit margin on stock prices with earnings per share as a moderating
variable. The population in this research is coal sub-sector energy companies listed
on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for the 2019-2023 period, totaling 20
companies. This research uses quantitative data and this research uses secondary
data obtained from company financial reports. Sample selection used a purposive
sampling method with 100 data from 20 companies in each period. This research
uses SPSS 27 with data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression testing
and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The research results show that the
current ratio and debt to equity ratio do not have a significant effect on stock prices.
Net profit margin has a significant effect on share prices. Earnings per share are
unable to moderate the influence of the current ratio and debt to equity ratio on
share prices. Earnings per share are able to moderate the influence of net profit
margin on share prices.
