Pemberian Kompos Solid Dan Pupuk Npkmg Terhadap Pertumbuhan Bibit Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis Guineensis Jacq.) Di Main Nursery
ABSTRACT
The oil palm plant (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) is a plant that produces food oil, industry and biofuel. Palm oil replanting is the process of replacing old and damaged plants with new plants to increase the productivity of oil palm plantations. This research aims to determine the effect of the interaction of solid compost and NPKMg fertilizer, solid compost factors, NPKMg fertilizer and to obtain the best dose on the growth of oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) seedlings in the main nursery. The research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University, in factorial form using a completely randomized design (CRD). Factor I, namely solid compost (S), consists of 3 levels, namely S1 = 150 g per plant, S2 = 200 g per plant and S3 = 250 g per plant. Factor II is NPKMg (N) fertilizer which consists of 3 levels, namely N1 = 10 g per plant, N2 = 15 g per plant and N3 = 20 g per plant. The data obtained were analyzed statistically with analysis of variance and continued with the Honestly Significant Difference (BNJ) test at the 5% level using the SAS application version 9.1. The best treatment combination from the results of this research is giving a dose of 250 g of solid compost and 15 g of NPKMg fertilizer per plant because it can increase plant height, tuber diameter, number of leaves and leaf area.
