Analisis kecendrungan komunikasi mahasiswa kedokteran terhadap kepuasan komunikasi pasien rawat inap di rsud arifin achmad provinsi riau
Teaching hospitals are places for medical students to develop clinical skills,
including communication skills with patients. Effective communication plays an
important role in improving service quality and patient satisfaction. This study aims
to the tendency of medical students' communication skills towards the
communication satisfaction of inpatients at RSUD Arifin Achmad, Riau Province.
This study used a cross-sectional design with a descriptive study approach. The
measurement of students' communication skills used AIDET
(Acknowledge,Introduce,Duration,Explanation,Thank You) questionnaire. While
patient satisfaction was assessed through a peer-reviewed survey of class III
hospitalized patients. The research results show that the majority of medical
students have good communication skills (86.7%) and none fall into the poor
category. Patient satisfaction with the communication of medical students is also
mostly in the high category (80.0%), and no patients reported low satisfaction with
communication. This study shows that medical students' communication has a
positive tendency towards patient satisfaction levels.
