Histologi usus ikan nilem (Osteochilus hasselti) yang diberi pakan buatan berbasis daun kelor (Moringa oleifera) terfermentasi
This research was conducted from February to April 2023 at the Fish Nutrition Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, University of Riau and Bukittinggi Veterinary Center. This study aims to obtain a histological picture of the intestines of nilem fed with fermented moringa leaf flour. The method used in this research is an experiment with a completely randomized design (CRD) of one factor with 5 levels of treatment and 3 repetitions. The nilem fry used had an average weight of 4.75 ± 0.91 g. Test fish were kept in cages measuring 1 x1 x1 m with a stocking density of 25 fish/m3. The test fish for digestibility measurements were kept in an aquarium measuring 60x40x40 cm3 with a stocking density of 20 fish/aquarium. The treatment used was soybean flour substitution using fermented moringa leaf flour with P0 (100:0%), P1 (75 : 25%), P2 (50 : 50%), P3 (25 : 75%), and P4 (0 : 100%). The results showed that the best treatment was P4 feed containing 100% fermented moringa leaf flour. The treatment of 100% fermented moringa leaf produced a digestibility value of 61.47% and the intestinal structure of the nilem which has longer and wider villi so that the nutrient absorption process becomes more optimal.
