Kandungan bakteri fecal coliform di waduk plta koto panjang kampar
PLTA Koto Panjang Reservoir is one of the reservoirs in Riau Province which has
a primary function as a Hydropower source and also used for fisheries and tourism
activities. Increasing fish farming activities produce residual feed and metabolism
which will increase the content of coliform bacteria in the water. This study aims
to determine the content of coliform bacteria in PLTA Koto Panjang Reservoir. The
research was conducted in February-March 2024. Sampling was carried out 3 times
at four station using the purposive sampling method. The results showed that the
highest total coliform bacteria were found at station 2, ranging from 7,4-38
colonies/100ml, where the surface had the highest total coliform. Based on water
quality standards, base on Government Regulation No. 22 of 2021, the total
coliform content in the PLTA Koto Panjang Reservoir is classified as not polluted.
The results of the OneWay Anova analysis showed a Sig value of 0.000-0.044,
which means that almost all stations have an influence between depth and content
total coliform in the waters.
