Analisis Pendapatan Usahatani Kelapa Sawit Pola Swadaya Di Kecamatan Tapung
ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to determine the amount of farmer income and to determine the social and environmental conditions of self-help palm oil farming in Tapung District in supporting environmental conservation.
This study uses secondary data obtained from official publications and related government agencies, and primary data obtained directly from respondents (self-help palm oil farmers in Tapung District). The data collection technique was carried out by observation, namely direct observation in the field, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis method used in this study is descriptive and quantitative data analysis.
The results of the study showed that the average net income was Rp 1,348,365/ha/month. The results of the BEP production analysis showed that the feasibility level of oil palm farming in Tapung District was feasible to be developed with real production > BEP production, namely 1,078.27 kg/ha/month > 170.14 kg/ha/month. Based on the BEP price analysis, it indicated that oil palm farming in Tapung District was profitable and feasible to be developed because the selling price in the field was far above the BEP (selling price), namely Rp 2,700/kg/month > Rp 1,271.43/kg/month.
In terms of social conditions, self-help oil palm farmers in Tapung District have good social conditions, where oil palm farmers in Tapung District are able to meet their social needs related to education, health and social community costs with education costs of IDR 1,000,000-IDR 3,000,000, health costs of IDR 500,001-IDR 1,000,000 and social costs of IDR 100,000-IDR 500,000. In terms of environmental conditions, self-help oil palm farmers in Tapung District in supporting environmental preservation have been running well, with drainage, not burning lava, using excavators for land clearing, the presence of channel beds and ditches. It can be concluded that this study shows that self-help oil palm farming in Tapung District provides benefits for farmers and has good social conditions and the environment of self-help oil palm farming in Tapung District has supported environmental preservation.
