Aplikasi Teknologi Bioflok Pada Budidaya Ikan Nila (Oreochromis Niloticus) Untuk Meningkatkan Pertumbuhan Dan Kelulushidupan Ikan
The purpose of this study was to analyze the application of biofloc technology in the tilapia fish farming system and to determine the effect of the use of biofloc technology application on the growth of tilapia fish. This study uses a descriptive method with literature studies and secondary data analysis to examine the effectiveness of biofloc technology in tilapia fish farming (Oreochromis niloticus). Without direct experiments, this study compared the results of biofloc and conventional system cultivation based on data from various scientific journals. The main focus is to assess whether the biofloc system can significantly increase the growth and survival of tilapia fish compared to methods without biofloc. Tilapia fish farming (Oreochromis niloticus) using the biofloc system has been carried out since February 12, 2024 - December 15, 2024, starting from the P2MW activity until the final report of the activity was collected. The location of Fish Go is at the Hatchery of the Aquaculture Department. The results showed that the biofloc system with the addition of fermented herbal medicine significantly increased the growth and survival of tilapia fish compared to the conventional system. Fish weight increased from 5.5 gramsto 148.82gramsin 120 days. In addition, the water quality in the biofloc system showed a steady increase after the initial maintenance phase. The initial low temperature and pH due to high rainfall gradually increased to the optimal range (29.0°C and pH 7.6).
