ABSTRACT
Rubber plants are one of the economic supports in Musi Banyuasin Regency which is one of the sources of income for the community and a large job opportunity, this sector can also reduce the unemployment rate of the community in Musi Banyuasin Regency. This study aims to analyze Farmers' Perceptions of the Role of the Bokar Processing and Marketing Unit (UPPB) in the Auction System of Rubber Marketing in Simpang Tungkal Village, Tungkal Jaya District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. The data used in this study are primary data such as questionnaires distributed to 40 members of the UPPB of Simpang Tungkal Village, Tungkal Jaya District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. Sampling was carried out using the purposive sampling method with the following criteria: 1) Rubber farmers in Simpang Tungkal Village, 2) Members of farmer groups who are actively involved in the UPPB. The results of the study indicate that: 1) The level of expectation of UPPB members shows that all attributes are considered very important; 2) The level of satisfaction of UPPB members shows that all attributes are good; and 3) Cartesian diagram analysis shows that transparent price attributes, price, durability and conformity to specifications are attributes that are a priority for improvement because they are considered very important. Profitable attributes, more comfortable service, price competitiveness, price conformity with product quality and visibility are attributes that are considered very important so that these attributes must be maintained. For consumers, the attributes of easier selling and easy access are considered less important so that these attributes are not a priority for improvement. The attributes of price do not fluctuate often, easy to trust and emotional relationships are considered less important.
