Pemanfaatan Limbah Cair Sawit Terhadap Pertumbuhan Wolffia Sp. Di Rumah Produksi Alga 3 Pks Sei Galuh Kabupaten Kampar Riau
Liquid waste from oil palm mills has a high nutrient content and can be used for plant growth, one of which is the Wolffia sp. The purpose of this study is to determine the best concentration of oil palm liquid waste as a medium for the growth of Wolffia sp. The research was conducted from February-March 2024 which islocated atthealgaeproduction house3 PKSSeiGaluh Kampar. Thedesign carried out in this study is a Complete Random Design consisting of 4 treatments and 3 replicatesincluding control, namely P0 (0% waste), P1 (15% waste), P2 (25% waste), P3 (35% waste) so that 12 experimental units were obtained. The parameters observed included Wolffia sp. biomass, water quality measurements such as pH and temperature were measured for 21 days with a time interval of 3 days, while measurements of nitrate, phosphate, DO, and CO2 concentrations were measured at the beginning and end of the study. The results show that the biomass of Wolffia sp. ranges from 7.07-22.01grams, Specific Growth Rate measurement range from 2.71%-16.33%, nitrate concentrations range from 1.165-0.144mg/L, phosphates range from 0.877-0.048mg/L, CO2 ranges from 2.51-11.13mg/L, DO ranges from 3.2-6.7mg/L, pH ranges from 6.95-8.81, and temperatures range from 28.1-30.4oC,. Based on statistical tests, the best consnetration for biomass growth of Wolffia sp. is P1 treatment.
