Pengaruh Lingkungan Kerja Dan Promosi Jabatan Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Dinas Pendidikan Dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota
ABSTRACT
This writing aims to determine the influence of the work environment
and job promotions on the performance of employees of the Limapuluh Kota
Regency Education and Culture Service. The work environment is everything
around the employee that can influence the employee in carrying out the
tasks assigned by the company. A promotion is the movement of an employee
to occupy a higher position in the company structure, accompanied by new
obligations to achieve existing company goals. Meanwhile, performance is
a series of activities to achieve company goals, targets and achievement
actions obtained by an employee, both in groups and individually, with
serious responsibility.
This research uses a survey method by distributing questionnaires.
The population of this study was all employees of the Limapuluh Kota
Regency Education and Culture Service, totaling 66 people who were used
as research samples.
The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis with
hypothesis testing consisting of the F test and t test. The results of this
research partially using the t test show that the work environment variable
has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, while the
position promotion variable has a positive and significant effect on employee
performance. Furthermore, a simultaneous test with the F test explains that
work environment variables and job promotions together have a positive and
significant effect on the performance of employees of the Limapuluh Kota
Regency Education and Culture Service.
