Pengaruh Kompetensi Dan Motivasi Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Guru Sma Negeri 13 Pekanbaru

ABSTRACT
This research aims to determine the influence of competence and work motivation, both simultaneously and partially, on teacher performance at SMA Negeri 13 Pekanbaru. The population in this study consists of all teachers at SMA Negeri 13 Pekanbaru, totaling 38 individuals. The sample includes the principal and all teachers at the school. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression.
The results of the study show that both competence and work motivation have a significant influence on the performance of teachers at SMA Negeri 13 Pekanbaru. Competence has a significant effect on teacher performance, as indicated by a t-value of 4.585, which is greater than the t-table value of 2.030, and a significance level of 0.001, which is less than 0.05. Work motivation also has a significant effect on teacher performance, with a t-value of 4.466 greater than the t-table value and a significance level of 0.019, which is less than 0.05.
