This study aims to determine the knowledge of sexual violence among children
aged 5-6 years before and after being given the "Kenali dan Lindungi Diri"
(Recognize and Protect Yourself) animated video at TK-PG LAB FKIP UNRI.
This research is a quantitative experimental study with a pre-experimental design
using a one group pretest-posttest model. The population in this study consisted of
64 children aged 5-6 years at TK-PG LAB FKIP UNRI, with a sample of 16
children from class B1. Based on the results, the researcher concluded that the
children's knowledge of sexual violence before the treatment was 38.19%, and
after the treatment, it increased to 82.99%. Data collection techniques used were
observation and children's worksheets, while primary data were collected directly
by the researcher. Data analysis was conducted using a t-test. The results showed
an increase in children's knowledge of sexual violence as seen from the average
scores before and after the treatment. The t-test analysis showed that the
calculated t-value of 14.87 was greater than the t-table value of 2.145. It can be
concluded that the "Kenali dan Lindungi Diri" animated video has a significant
effect on increasing knowledge of sexual violence among children aged 5-6 years
at TK-PG LAB FKIP UNRI. Therefore, this study proves that the animated video
is effective in enhancing children's knowledge regarding sexual violence
prevention.
