This study aims to analyze the influence of parental roles and learning motivation
on student learning outcomes. The study was conducted at SMP Negeri 1
Pekanbaru, Class VII, Social Studies Subject. The sample in this study was 70
students using proportional random sampling techniques. Data were obtained
through documentation and questionnaires, then analyzed using descriptive
analysis and multiple linear regression. The results of the study showed that
parental roles and learning motivation, both partially and simultaneously, had a
positive and significant effect on learning outcomes. The results of the t-test on
the influence of parental roles on learning outcomes with a Sig. value of 0.000
