Analisis Usaha tani cabe merah (Capsicum annum L) Organik studi kasus binaan BPTP Riau di desa Aur Sati Kecamatan Tambang Kabupaten Kampar
A research to evaluate organic red pepper farming system, income analysis, farm efficiency, and problems on organic red pepper farming was conducted at Aur Sati Village-Tambang Subdistrict - Kampar Regency from September 2006 until January 2007. The research conducted in a survey method with 12 respondent. Some variables calculated were: net income, reduction in equipment value, farm efficiency, and manpower income in family. The results showed that the red pepper farm have been doing continue for some years. General acivities on red pepper farm were: ground making, ridging, nursery, mulching, base fertilizer application, plant care, attach stake, replace dead seedlings with new ones, supplementary application of fertilizer, and harvest. Pest cotrolled by Organen and desease controlled by Mitol. The both pesticides are natural pesticides. Production expense for organic red pepper farming was Rp 21.721.125/ha/season. Red pepper yield was 2.140 kg/ha - 2.475,81 kg/ha and price was Rp 16.000,-/kg. Gross income was Rp 39.612.960/ha/season and net income was Rp 17.891.835,-/ha/season. Economic efficiency (RCR) was 1,82. The meaning of that is every Rp 100,- cost for production will give Rp 182,- gross income or Rp 82,- net income. The problems of organic red pepper farm were: selling price for organic red pepper product is not significant different compared to chemical red pepper farm product, perform of organic red pepper is not interest for consumer, price of organic fertilizer and pesticide is higher than chemical fertilizer and pesticide.
