Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi jagung manis (Zea mays var. saccharata sturt) Dengan Pemberian Trichokompos Jerami padi dan Pupuk Kalium
The purpose of this experiment is to obtain rice straw trichokompos
interaction with potassium fertilizer that gives the best effect on the growth and
production of sweet corn. The experiment was held in the experiment garden of
agriculture faculty in university of Riau, height 10 meters above sea level.
Experiments carried out from June 2009 until October 2009. Experimental method
used is the method of experiment with randomized group design (RAK) with 2
factors (trichokompos rice straw and potassium fertilizers), repeated 3 times. Each
factor consists of 4 levels so that there are 16 combinations of treatments.
Standard treatment of rice straw trichokompos: T0 (rice straw Trichokompos 0
tons / ha), T1 (rice straw Trichokompos 5 tons / ha), T2 (rice straw trichokompos
10 tons / ha), and T3 (rice straw trichokompos 15 tons/ha). Potassium level of
treatment that is: K0 (potassium 0 kg / ha), K1 (potassium 5 kg / ha), K2 (10 kg
potassium / ha), and K3 (15 kg potassium / ha). The observed variables include
the rate of dry material accumulation, berangkasan dry weight, ratio of crown
roots, female flowers appear, cob length, cob diameter, ear weight per plot, and
the number of rows per cob. The results showed that the interaction with rice
straw trichokompos with potassium fertilizers is significantly different on the
diameter of cob. Rice straw Trichokompos is not significantly different to the
number of rows per cob. Potassium fertilizer is significantly different on the
parameters cob diameter and cob weight per plot. Combination rice straw
trichokompos 15 tons / ha with 15 kg/ha of potassium (T3K3) is a treatment that
gives the best results.
