The main objective of the research is to examain the impact of profitability, firm size, assets structure, sales growth, ownership structure, and tax rates on the capital structure. Population in this research are the Real Estate and Property Company listed in Indonesian Capital Exchange during 2004-2008. As much as 26 firm were taken as a sample using a purposive sampling method. The data were then analyzed by the multiple linear regression model. From the results test, indicate that firm size, assets structure, sales growth, ownership structure, and tax rates is significantly affect on capital structure. While profitability are not significantly affect on capital structure. Keyword : Capital Structure, Profitability, Firm Size, Assets Structure, Sales Growth, Ownership Structure, Tax Rates
