Analisis Konsentrasi Logam Berat Pb, Cu Dan Zn Pada Air Laut Dan Siput Bakau (T. Telescopium) Di Perairan Sekitar Pt. Marcopolo Batam Provinsi Kepulauan Riau

The study was conducted in December 2011. The aim was to analyze and compare the metal concentration of Pb, Cu, and Zn in seawater and T. telescopium at several stations with different activies and determine the relationship between heavy metal concentrations in seawater and T. telescopium, and to know the status of marine pollution by using the MPI (metal pollution index). The method used was survey method conducted and samples were collected from beach divided into 5 point samplings. The results showed that metal concentrations of Pb in both variables have a weak relationship. For Cu metal concentrations in the two variables there was also a very weak relationship. As for Zn metal concentrations, relations between the two variables was very weak or no relationship. The calculation of MPI showed that the values was at average of 1209,85, it means that marine waters of PT. Marcopolo has been including as polluted medium level.
