Persepsi Masyarakat Terhadap Sumberdaya Perairan Sungai Kelekar Di Desa Pangkul Kecamatan Cambai Kota Prabumulih Provinsi Sumatera Selatan

This study dilaksanankan from October 2011 through February 2012 in the
Village District Pangkul Cambai Prabumulih city of South Sumatra Province. This study
aims to 1) Describe the characteristics that include age, education, income, and work
experience 2) to measure and analyze public perception of water resources the River
Kelekar 3) Measure and analyze the characteristics of public relations with the public
perception of water resources Kelekar River. This study uses survey methods. Public
perception of water resources to unfavorable Kelekar River range 20-27 score as many
as 13 people (68.42%) with the perception that the utilization of aquatic resources
Kelekar River is still not good that people still use toxic materials in making arrests. The
relationship between characteristics of the community with public perception of water
resources Kelekar River, for the variables age and work experience is very weak while
the relationship between formal education and income relationship isweak.
