Pengaruh Pemberian Kadar Pupuk Teknis Walne (Nh4no3) Dan Salinitas Pada Media Kultur Terhadap Pertumbuhan Spirulina Platensis Skala Laboratorium
This reseacrh was conducted in July 2013 in the Laboratory of Natural Food Center for Development of Brackish Water Aquaculture Jepara, Central Java Province. This study aimed to find the best combination of technical Walne NH4NO3 fertilizer and salinity on growth of Spirulina platensis culture media. This study was an experimental research aiming to inoculate S.platensis with 2 g / l and the initial density of 10.000 cells / ml. The results indicated that application of walne NH4NO3 fertilizer levels and salinity in culture media affected the growth rate, biomass and protein content of S.platensis. The population growth rate, biomass and protein content showed that the best combination was at the treatment of S1P3 (10 ppt, 1.25 ml / l). From the results it can be concluded that the provision of technical walne NH4NO3 fertilizer and salinity in the culture medium S.platensis influenced on growth.
