This study aims to determine Upgrades Poetry paraphrase Elementary School Sixth Grade Students Rambah Downstream 020. The method used in this study is a training method, a method that uses the activities of a motor, mental skills, understanding of an object which must be frequently performed and adapted to the student's ability level. This research technique using a technique tesmemparafrasekan poetry. Description of the results of this study are: (1) the suitability of the content of prose poetry with meaning (2) the use of a capital letter at the beginning of the sentence. The study sample was 25 students.
