Analisis Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Kondisi Financial Distress Pada Perusahaan Manufaktur Yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia

This study aims to analyze the factors that the likehood of financial distress in manufacturing companies in Indonesia. Financial distres is defined as a situation in which companies are experiencing financial difficulties. This study use liquidity, leverage, cash flow, company’s growth and firm’s size. This study used sample of manufacturing firm listed Indonesia Stock Excahang eduring period 2008-2012, with a total sample of 17 companies that meet the criteria specified sample trough purposive sampling method. One multiplied by the length of the study period, which for the past 5 years, as many as 85 companies obtained the samples used in study. The methods of analysis used logistic regression analisys.
The results showed that, cash flow and company’s growth significantly influence the occurrence of financial distress. Liquidity, leverage and firm’s size not significantly influence the occurrence of financial distress.
