Pengaruh Kompetensi Dan Komitmen Organisasi Terhadap Kinerja Guru Smp Negeri 1 Selatpanjang, Kab. Kepulauan Meranti
This research was conducted at the Junior High School (SMP) State 1, Selatpanjang, Meranti Islands District. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of competence and commitment to teacher performance. The study population is teachers who numbered 58 people and set with models census.
Variables used in this research is the competence and commitment as an independent variable and performance as the dependent variable. Data analysis method used is descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression anlisis assisted tool SPSS 13 for windows.
The study concluded that the competence and commitment of significant influence simultaneously and partially on teacher performance. The factors affecting the performance of competency stronger than commitment. Employee performance is determined by the variation that occurs in the competence and commitment.
The recommendation given is the school must always provide training to teachers, if need be given scholarships to enable them to continue their education and need to be lumped individual values with the values that exist in schools by forming the character of the teacher.
