Analisis Kinerja Penyuluh Pertanian Di Kecamatan Kubu Kabupaten Rokan Hilir

This research aims to learn the implementation of agricultural extension in Kubu District Rokan Hilir Regency; analyze the motivation of agricultural extension agents in Kubu District; analyze the competence of agricultural extension agents in Kubu District Rokan Hilir Regency; analyze the role of agricultural extension agents in Kubu District; analyze the performance of agriculture extension agents in Kubu District. This research conducted in Kubu District with survey method. Population in this research was all of agricultural extension agents in Kubu District who amounted to 8, then sampling taken in the census. The first aim of this research used qualitative descriptive data analysis method, and the second till fifth aim used Scale Likert's summated rating (SLR). The results showed; the implementation of agricultural extension in Kubu District under Balai Penyuluhan Pertanian (BPP) who implement by 8 extension agents to develop 15 sub-district and 117 farmer groups; the agricultural extension agents motivation in Kubu District included in "High" category, that reflected from the education level and work conformity with desirability; the competence of agricultural extension agents in Kubu District included in "Competent” category, that reflected on the competence in the administration, program planning, and teaching of competencies; the role of agricultural extension agents in Kubu District included in "Very less role" category in gave education, dissemination of information, facilitation, consultation, supervision, and monitoring; the performance of agricultural extension agents in Kubu District included in "Good enough" category, that reflected on the performance of agricultural extension agents in preparation for a very good extension, but in execution of extension still less.
