Analisis Pengembangan Usaha Tenun Songket Di Kota Pekanbaru

This study aims to determine the factors that influence the development of songket weaving business in Pekanbaru city and to know what problems or obstacles faced in doing business in the city of Pekanbaru songket.
The population in this study are all songket weaving business in Pekanbaru as many as 31 business units. Samples used as many as 10 samples, a place of business which produces songket songket consistently use methods random sampling, Data analysis using quantitative descriptive method by analyzing the feasibility of using the formula NPV and IRR,
The results showed that the songket weaving enterprises have a significant role both in the market and financial aspects. Obstacles encountered to develop songket weaving business is dominated by the difficulty of obtaining raw materials and lack of funds owned businesses. The selling price per piece songket Rp. 1.515 million with the production cost per piece Rp. 1.008.000- quite beneficial to business owners. In addition, based on calculations, the IRR obtained is 28.24% means that the company is giving a considerable advantage to both the business owners.
