Hubungan Pengetahuan dan Sikap Terhadap Tindakan Wanita Pekerja Seksual Tidak Langsung Tentang Pap Smear dan Inspeksi Visual Asetat Sebagai Deteksi Dini Kanker Serviks Di Hotspot X Kecamatan Payung Sekaki Pekanbaru
Cervical cancer is a malignant cell which lives in cervical cells. Cervical cancer was second most common cancer after breast cancer in Indonesia. Based on the fact, indirect Female Sex Worker (FSW) have high risk factor of getting cervical cancer. Only 5% women in Indonesia who already have tested cervical cancer early detection. The aim of this research was to find out the correlation between knowledge and attitude toward the action of indirect FSW about Pap smears and IVA as the early detetction of cervical cancer in hotspot X Payung Sekaki district Pekanbaru. This research was conducted by using analytic cross sectional method and total sampling method for taking the sample and it used questionnaire. There were 32 respondents in this research which most of them are lack of knowledge (78,1%), negative attitude (75%), and willing to do cervical cancer early detection (93,8%). Researcher found that there was no correlation between the knowledge toward the attitude (p=0,059). In the other hands, there is no correlation between knowledge toward the act cervical cancer early detection (p=1,000) and attitude toward the act cervical cancer early detection (p=0,999). Conclusion of this research was most of the FSW in hotspot X Payung Sekaki district Pekanbaru had bad knowledge, negative attitude, but had positive practice towards servical cancer early detection.
