Optimisasi Penambahan Limbah Drilling Cutting Pada Proses Bioremediasi
The attempt of company to maintain its production of crude oil is by drilling new wells and perform maintenance of existing wells. Of these activities will generate waste, its called sludge drilling cutting. Drilling Cutting waste have characteristics similar with petroleum contaminated soil. One way to improve the quality of petroleum contaminated soil is bioremediation techniques. In the process of bioremediation, the bacteria / microbes in the soil will degrade hydrocarbons that contaminate the soil. In this study cutting drilling waste is added to the sample of petroleum contaminated soil, which will be processed in bioremediation using naturally existing microorganisms. The results of the most effective and efficient way to lower the TPH value is the ratio of the addition of contaminated soil and waste drilling cutting as much as 60:40, where the TPH value gained 0.74% over 69 days. This condition is supported by the pH value of the samples in neutral pH range (6,5 - 7,5).
