Dengue hemorrhagic fever is caused by Dengue virus is transmitted to humans through the bite of the Aedes aegypti mosquito and can cause death. Dengue cases in the province of Riau on the 2012s / d in 2014 continued to increase, morbidity Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in Riau Province in 2012 was 14.5 / 100,000 population (834 cases) with a mortality rate of 1.8% (15 deaths). The purpose of this study was to analyze Conduct of Civil Society in the Prevention of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) in Teluk Binjai Village and Tanjung Palas Subdistrict East Dumai. the type of research is descriptive quantitative aims to explain, provide a name, situation or phenomenon of people's behavior in disease prevention of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in Kota Dumai with samples 42 families whose family members have suffered from dengue Fever and 42 families members of his family never suffered from dengue Fever. The results of analysis indicate that the characteristics of the people associated with the behavior of people in disease prevention Dengue is the age group, education, employment, home ownership. While the sub-variables of religion does not relate to the behavior of people in disease prevention Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever. The majority of people behave poorly in disease prevention Dengue is number 46 KK (54.76%). predisposing factors related to the behavior of people in disease prevention Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever. Enabling factors not related to the behavior of people in disease prevention of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in Dumai. Reinforcing factors is the attitude and behavior of health workers is not related to the behavior of people in disease prevention of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in Dumai. It can be concluded that there is no difference variables related to disease prevention behaviors Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in the village of Teluk Binjai and the village of Tanjung Palas. The high incidence of Dengue Fever in the village of Teluk Binjai, probably caused by a number of residents more than residents of the Village of Tanjung Palas while Teluk Binjai Village area smaller than the area of the village of Tanjung Palas.
