Pengaruh Kepuasan Kerja, Komitmen Organisasi Dan Stres Kerja Terhadap Turnover Intention Pegawai Kantor Badan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Dan Pembangunan Desa Provinsi Riau
This study aimed to identify and to analyze the effect of job satisfaction, organizational commitment and job stress partially and simultaneously on turnover intention of employees of Badan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Pembangunan Desa Propinsi Riau. The study population was all of employees of Badan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Pembangunan Desa Propinsi Riau, amounting to 69 people. Purposive Random Sampling method was used and the data obtained was processed by using SPSS 16 for Windows.
Partial test results showed that job satisfaction had a negative significant effect on turnover intention; organizational commitment had a negative significant effect on turnover intention; and work stress had a significant effect on turnover intention. The test results of job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and work stress simultaneously showed the effect on turnover intention of 54.7% and the remaining 45.3% was influenced by other factors.
The author suggests for the leadership of this company to improve and pay attention to job satisfaction, organizational commitment and work stress, because these variables impact significantly on the employee’s turnover intention.
