Perkembangan Industri Pariwisata Pulau Jemur Di Kabupaten Rokan Hilir
This study aims to identify the tourism potency in Jemur Island. Review the internal and external environmental condition in influencing the development ofthe tourism industry Jemur Island. Formulate the developmen tstrategy of tourism industry Jemur Island. The analytical methodused thematrix analysis of IFAS(Internal Factor Analysis Summary) and EFAS (External Factor Analysis Summary) andmatrix analysis SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat). Data collected byobservation, depthinter views and question naires. The result ofthe analysis ofthe internal environment obtained a score of2.932, it means the tourism of Jemur is in the position moderately and the external environment analysis obtained a score of 2.963, which means the tourism of Jemur Island is in the position moderately. Specific strategies from the SWOT analysis, namely: SO strategy (Strength Opportunity) with development tourist attraction strategy (through the set up program and inventory tourism are atourist attractionas well ascom for tand safety traveled), ST strategy (Strength Threat) with astrategy of sustainable tourism developmen t(through program the improvement thequality of environment, the quality of social and cultural life, economic development forcommunities), WO strategy (Weakness Opportunity )the promotion of the development strategy (through the promotion and providing the tourist information center) andWT strategy (Weakness Threat) with infrastructure development strategy and human resources development.
