This study aims to determine the feasibility of industrial waste processing oil palm empty fruit bunches and socio-economic impacts on local communities Teluk Mega Kecamatan Tanah Putih Kabupaten Rokan Hilir. This study uses data collection techniques by questionnaires, observations, and interviews directly to the site of research in the village of Teluk Mega. The analytical method used in this study is a feasibility study. From the research that has been done, test the NPV (Net Present Value) indicate that the NPV greater than zero with a value of Rp. 56,898,725 so that the business is feasible. Test B / C Ratio (Benefit Cost Ratio) with a value of 1,850 is greater than zero so that the business is feasible. Test IRR (Internal Rate of Return) shows IRR of mangrove fruit processing industry amounted to 78.73%. This figure is greater than the interest rate used is equal to 78% so that the business is feasible to run and developed. Payback period of 1.2, meaning an investment of industrial waste oil palm empty fruit bunches can tertupi within 1 year 2 months so that the business is feasible. Socio-economic impacts of industrial waste oil palm empty fruit bunches so perceived Mega Bay Village community, especially those who work as managers of industrial waste kosomg oil palm bunches. With the existence of this industry can improve the community economy Mega Bay Village.
