Plantation PT Kharisma create new job opportunities for local people, As for the jobs available are in the care of the garden. Type of work is the use of oil, palm frond fans, oil pest poison, plant turnir, collecting fallen fruit palm palm trees around, and harvest the oil. The existence of the employment field, causing a lot of people who are interested to become laborers, including women. According to William J. Goode women work mainly due to poverty. In addition, according to the theory of Neo Classical trend of working women due to the economy, although the level of income of working women is always lower than the income of men, judging from the same type of work. The location study was conducted in villages Talang Suka Maju District of Rakit Kulim Indragiri Hulu. The population in this study is women workers who are still working in PT Kharisma Riau Sentosa Prima, a sampling technique in this research is by using census sampling technique when all members of the population used as a sample. In this study population of female respondents as many as 86 people, so that all the population sampled. Analysis of the data used by the writer is descriptive analysis of quantitative data. Where the contents of this study contains a discussion of the results of research is in-depth explanation and interpretation of the data that has been presented. After a discussion of the results is given, then the next can be inferred. From the research results can be seen that women who go to work as laborers due to the economic demands, they are required to supplement the family income in order to meet the needs of family life.
